WORLD DOG SHOW WEEK – CACIB, MAE Sighthound Club Speciality, Euro Sighthound, WDS 15-19.05.2013. [Budapest]

All our dogs did well during the whole week.

Sobresalto Resta Cu Me “Lola” took excellent  on all three show days (was not shown at the CACIB), and took 4th place in Junior Class at the Club Speciality (full entry was 7), handled by me.

PetrezselyemProjekt’s Inner City Life “City”was excellent 4th at the club speciality (class entry was 6), and also took the 4th place in Open class at the WDS, where the full entry was 17, with only one absence! He was handled by me and by our great friend Becky Gardner.

PetrezselyemProjekt’s Lightfall Lunatica “Vega” was ex2 Res CAC at the CACIB show in Champion class, and CAC, Clubwinner Bitch 2013 at the club speciality (champion class entry was 7 all female entry for the title was 15), handled by myself.

Vega and City won the Brace class at the club speciality!

PetrezselyemProjekt Free Tibet “Tara” was ex2 Res CAC both at the CACIB show and the Sighthound Speciality in Open class, on the other two days she was excellent without placement.

PetrezselyemProjekt Nightflight “NafNaf” was ex2 Res CAC at the Euro Sighthound in Intermediate class, and she won the huge intermediate class at the WDS! Her litter sister PetrezselyemProjekt Love Foolosophy “Sophy” was placed for third in the same class, where the entry was 13! We are very proud!.

We are also very proud of City’s wonderful daughter Avocado of Hungarian Diamonds “Nikita” who was very promising and took the 3rd place in the minor puppy BIS at the Euro Sighthound!

City’s lovely fawn son Assassin of Hungarian Diamonds “Woodoo” was very promising and best minor puppy in breed at the Club Speciality.

We also showed breeding groups both at the Euro Sighthound and the WDS, without placement, but had lots of fun! Our group also contained the handsome white and black PetrezselyemProjekt Director’s Cut “Goliath” who also showed well on the 3 show days; he took Ex2 Res CAC at the Speciality in Intermediate class!

Our pet PetrezselyemProjekt’s Last Train to Lhasa “Lhasa” took part in SOFA Dogwear’s Dog Fashion Show and did very well!

We had such fun together with Sue Nichols, Becky and Brianna Gardner from the USA, Tiina Paulaharju from Canada, Dániel Novák, Olga Pozsonyi, Andrada Crisan and so many more friends from all over Hungary and Europe!

Our foundation bitch Willow (USA and Hun CH Lightfall’s Will-O-Wisp) was 4th in 7-10 Veteran class at the AWC National Speciality. Willow is bred by Sue Nichols and Rebecca Gardner, owned by Brenda Malick and us.

Vega (CH PetrezselyemProjekt’s Lightfall Lunatica) was 2nd in CH class at the Spring Speciality of the Italian Sighthound Club under Mr. Bo Bengtson, and she was 4th under Mrs. Patsy Gilmour at the speciality of the Whippet Club of Germany in a big-big entry in CH class.

City (PetrezselyemProjekt’s Inner City Life) returned after a year spent in the USA, but before he left, he was 2nd in Open class at the AWC National Speciality in a huge class!

Our Tara (PetrezselyemProjekt Free Tibet) finished her Hungarian CH, so now she is HCH, HJCH and SRBCH Tara, and also won BISS under breeder-judge Mrs. Judit Szanka!!! She was 2X BOB in 2012 too. She was 4th under Mr. Magnus Hagstedt and 2nd under Mrs Patsy Gilmour in huge open classes of the german club’s club and speciality shows.

Sophy (PetrezselyemProjekt Love Foolosophy, owned by Andrada Crisan) was Puppy Res.BIS, 5X BOB, 2X BOG and multiple group placed, she finished her Junior CH title in Romania and she is fresh adult Moldavian Champion! She was 2nd in the Junior class at the Euro Dog Show, just behind sister NafNaf.
Mandala (PetrezselyemProjekt Manasarovar, owned by family Bácskai) has started her coursing career in 2012!

Our show star NafNaf (PetrezselyemProjekt Nightflight, owned by Dániel Novák and PetrezselyemProjekt) was in 2012: 2 X Baby BIS, Puppy Class Winner at the World Dog Show, 3 X Junior Speciality BIS plus JBISS at the Euro Sighthound 2012 (!!!), 2 X Junior BIS (inculding a big win at a huge CACIB show in Slovakia), 9 X BOB, multiple times group placed, multiple Junior BOG winner, Hungarian, Slovakian, Croatian, Bulgarian, Moldavian, Macedonian Junior Champion, Junior Eurosighthound Winner 2012, Junior Hungarian Clubwinner 2012, aaaand Junior European Winner 2012 + – as icing on the cake – Junior Groupwinner at the Euro Dogshow 2012…with these results being the MOST SUCCESFUL HUNGARIAN WHIPPET EVER BRED AND OWNED (by time) !!!

Our new kid Lola (Sobresalto Resta Cu Me, bred by Arnaldo and Annalisa and owned by family Megyeri and us) has just started her show carreer with a Puppy BIS III and a Puppy BIS win!

Lhasa (PetrezselyemProjekt’s Last Train to Lhasa, 5 years old neutered sweetie) returned to us in 2012.

NafNaf won Junior BOB, Junior BOG (judge Mr. Per Iversen, NO) and JUNIOR BIS on the first day, handled by Dániel Novák till the JBOG and Dorottya Záhonyi-Ábel for the JBIS! Thank you!

On the second day she won BOB (breed entry 19, judge Mr. Bill Browne-Cole, UK), Derby Winner and Derby Res. BOG!

 Fair’s (PetrezselyemProjekt Scarborough Fair) Canadian trip with Sue, Becky, Mary & Tiina (Lightfall, Willowisp & Stone Meadow kennels).

3 show days!
On Friday she was 3rd in Open Class,
on Saturday she was Open Class 1st at the NWCC National Speciality under Mr. Bo Bengtson
and she was also 1st in Open Class on Sunday!

Meanwhile Dani & NafNaf ( PetrezselyemProjekt Nightflight) did extremely well in Bulgaria on Sunday, at the Sighthound Speciality Open Club Show. NafNaf went BOB, Junior SBIS and SBIS under Mr. Tony Groenendijk from the Netherland, at the age of 9 months and 4 days.
What a succesful weekend for the black-green whippets!

Dani & NafNaf, PetrezselyemProjekt Nightflight did it again! NafNaf went FEMALE PUPPY CLASS WINNER in a class of 9 entered puppy bitches!

NafNaf is our second ownbred black whippet who could win the puppy bitch class at a World Dog Show; our pioneer has been PetrezselyemProjekt Free Tibet “Tara” who did the same in Bratislava, 2009 under breeder-judge Patsy Gilmour (GB).

Just got the call that PetrezselyemProjekt Director’s Cut, the lovely white and black “Goliath” went PUPPY RES. BIS in Salgótaján, at the National allbreed CAC show!
He is the fourth pup from the Jamiro X Vega litter to win or be placed in Baby or Puppy BIS competitions!

Heavy: 2nd in Puppy Male class (full entry:5) with lovely critics.

Vega: 2nd in Champion Female class (full entry:8.) with fantastic critics.

BOB, Junior BIS and Res.BIS: Sobresalto Ndringhete e Ndrà, half sister of our 2011. litter. BOS winner was Festiva’s Been There Done That.

While City and I had spent our time in the USA with our beloved american friends, pups did well in Europe!

PetrezselyemProjekt Love Foolosophy “Sophy” won Puppy Res.BIS at the intl CACIB show in Satu Mare on Saturday, and went Puppy BOB on Sunday.

PetrezselyemProjekt Heavy Tool “Heavy” went Puppy BOB on Sunday at the CAC show in Gyula, and was placed for second in the “local living competitors” contest.

PetrezselyemProjekt Director’s Cut “Goliath” got very promising 2 at the same show.
